This pendant is wrapped in solid, untreated copper. Over time, copper naturally deepens in tone and develops a patina. This is not damage, it is the metal evolving organically.
In some cases, copper may leave a faint green mark on the skin due to natural oxidation reacting with skin oils. This is harmless and washes off easily with soap and water.
If you prefer a brighter finish, the included polishing cloth will restore shine.
